    • You have been directed by Public Health to self-isolate.

    • You have traveled outside the province of BC or have had contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

  • Alternative Arrangements: If you or anyone in your household is ill, we can move your private training session online or postpone it until a negative COVID-19 test is received and symptoms have resolved.

  • Trainer Health: If I am unwell or have been in contact with anyone sick, I will contact you to reschedule or offer a virtual online session.

Private Sessions

  • Appointment Limits: In-person appointments will be limited to reduce points of contact and allow time for cleaning and sanitizing between sessions.

  • Sanitization: Equipment, personal items, and vehicles will be sanitized between appointments. For demos, trainers will use their own sanitized Biothane leash.

  • Rescheduling: If you have traveled or been ill within 14 days before your session, please reschedule. The 48-hour cancellation policy will be waived for illness or suspected illness.

Private Walking/Walk & Train Policy

  • Trainer Health: Trainers showing signs of illness will stay home, self-isolate, and get a COVID-19 test. We will inform you directly if this affects your booking.

  • Cancellation: If you or anyone in your household has been ill, traveled, or had contact with someone testing positive in the 14 days before a walk, please cancel services. The cancellation policy will be waived for illness.

  • Sanitization Practices: Walkers will use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol before, during, and after walks. Leashes and high-contact surfaces will be disinfected between clients and washed daily.

  • Low-Contact Handoffs: Coordinate gear transfers via text if you’re home, or leave gear by the door if you’re not home. Wear a mask for handoffs if you’re present.
