Patio Pals - Pups 'n Pints Workshop

Location - Patina Brewing - 2332 Marpole Street, Port Coquitlam

 

Price:

$75 plus GST - this includes one drink to enjoy while you train

*The drink is up to a $10 value. Additional drinks and food can be purchased if you wish

Max 2 human participants per dog

What you'll learn:​

  • Answer your questions about the basics of positive reinforcement training

  • Ignoring other guests

  • Calm greetings with humans

  • Leave it - the table and food

  • Settle under or around the table

  • Pattern games for calmness and refocusing

Class Details:​

  • Each workshop is up to 90 minutes

  • Dogs must be 5 months old or older to attend. If younger, please reach out for permission. 

  • 2 handlers max per dog. For safety reasons, we do not allow kids to attend. 

  • There will be 2 trainers on hand to coach you and answer any questions

  • Maximum 6 dogs per workshop with 2 trainers. Maximum 4 dogs with 1 trainer.

Please note:​

  • Dogs unable to cope with the environment may need to book a private session where we can meet in a local park and gradually build up your skills. 

  • These classes are not suitable for reactive or fearful dogs who aren't already working with us. Check out the Tri-Cities Reactive Club for a better option to begin with.

Patio Pals VIP Sessions

$125 per team (45 min)

Looking for something more personalized?

Our VIP private patio sessions give you one-on-one support in a real-world setting at a local dog-friendly restaurant, brewery or picnic area.

We’ll focus on helping your dog learn to settle, build confidence, and navigate distractions while you enjoy a $10 credit toward food or drink at the hosting patio.

Available in the Tri-Cities with Bianca and in Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows with Kari.

  • Get one on one hands on help with your dog's specific challenges

  • Ignoring other guests

  • Calm greetings with humans (if suitable)

  • Leave it - the table and food

  • Settle under or around the table
