Outdoor Life Skills Classes

Core skills used to maintain or build a confident, happy and emotionally healthy dog for life

Upcoming Start Dates:

Tuesday May 7 @ 5:45pm (May 7, 14, 21, 28 & June 4)

 

What you'll learn:

  • How to effectively read your dogs body language

  • Ways to prevent reactivity and fear from building

  • Fun training games to keep you and your dog motivated

  • Important skills like loose leash walking, recall, settle, targeting, eye contact & much more!

Class Details:

  • This set of classes runs for 5 weeks

  • Each class is one hour long

  • Everyone will receive access to an online orientation as well as resources and homework in an easy to use online course platform.

  • Dogs must be 5 months old or older to attend

  • 2 handlers max per dog. Children under 10 are encouraged to stay home unless another adult is present to supervise them

  • There will be 2 trainers on hand to coach you and answer any questions

  • Maximum 6 dogs per class with 2 trainers. Maximum 4 dogs per class with 1 trainer.

Location:

Out front of James Park Elementary, Port Coquitlam

1761 Westminster Ave. Port Coquitlam - there is parking on the street out front.

Price:

$225 plus GST

Please note:

  • There are no washrooms on site

  • Dogs unable to cope with the class setting may need to transfer to private sessions. We will discuss this further if this is the case

  • These classes may not be suitable for reactive or fearful dogs. Check out our community reactive classes to work specifically on focus and calmness around other dogs or reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
