ABOUT BIANCA - CDBC, FDM, FFCT, CPDT-KA

Hi, I’m Bianca, and my passion lies in helping dogs and their families build strong, positive relationships. Having faced the challenges of training firsthand, I understand how overwhelming and daunting it can be when things don’t go as planned. My goal is to provide compassionate, effective support to those feeling stuck or unsure.

I’m a multi-certified professional in dog behavior and training, holding several highly sought after certifications:

Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC)

Through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), which showcases my deep understanding of scientific principles, critical thinking, and successful case studies.

Family Dog Mediator (FDM)

Specializing in fostering harmonious relationships between dogs and their families.

Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA)

Through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, requiring 300 hours of practical experience and a rigorous exam.

Fear Free Certified Trainer (FFCT)

Allowing me to work closely with veterinary hospitals and groomers to ensure stress-free experiences for pets.

My journey into positive reinforcement training began in 2016 when I rescued Snoopy, a Great Dane with challenging behaviors. Navigating this journey was both eye-opening and emotional, igniting my passion for understanding and addressing dog behavior issues. After working closely with a specialist and gaining hands-on experience, I spent a year and a half mentoring under this trainer, which allowed me to build extensive expertise in managing various behavioral challenges.

I stay current with the latest advancements in dog training and behavior through ongoing education, including seminars, conferences, and webinars. My approach is firmly rooted in positive reinforcement, focusing on rewarding desired behaviors to build a strong bond and enhance learning.

I am deeply grateful for the support from my colleagues, clients, family, and friends throughout my career. I am excited to guide you and your dog through your training journey, helping to build lasting, positive connections and achieve your goals together.

Thank you for considering Magnolia Dog Training & Behaviour. I look forward to working with you and your canine companion!

ABOUT KARI

Hi, I’m Kari, and my journey into dog behavior and training began in a profound way. After a near-fatal car accident left me searching for a new purpose, I found a renewed sense of direction through reconnecting with Bianca at a family event. What started as a simple conversation about shadowing quickly evolved into a deep commitment to helping dogs and their families.

I first joined the team in October 2018, initially focusing on dog walks and training sessions. Over the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of completing a comprehensive three-year mentorship under Bianca, specializing in behavior modification for fearful and reactive dogs. This experience has deepened my understanding of canine body language and the science behind our positive, force-free methods. I’ve also completed the DogSafe Canine First Aid course and actively engage in webinars and conferences to keep my skills sharp.

I’m currently working on my Family Dog Mediator (FDM) certification, which reflects my ongoing dedication to mastering the complexities of family dynamics and addressing behavior issues with a compassionate, ethological approach.

The bond between Bianca and me, both personally and professionally, enhances our collaborative approach to training. Our shared values and commitment to positive, force-free methods create a supportive environment for both clients and their canine companions.

Together, Bianca and I are passionate about guiding you and your dog through any behavior challenges or training goals. We’re excited to support you in building a stronger, more harmonious relationship with your furry friend.
