Drop-in Classes

Fun, engaging classes for all dogs

Our drop-in classes are designed to give you flexibility while still building meaningful, real-life skills with your dog. Whether you’re joining us for nose work (both food and odor-based searches), life skills, parkour, Patio Pals, or other rotating offerings, each session focuses on practical, positive experiences that support your dog’s confidence, emotional wellbeing, and ability to navigate the world with you.

These classes are perfect for ongoing enrichment, skill-building, and maintaining progress without committing to a full course. You can attend what fits your schedule, mix and match class types, and choose the path that best supports your dog’s individual needs.

Nose Work

Fun Scent Games for All Dogs

Join Bianca and Kari for relaxed, enjoyable nose work sessions focused on mental enrichment and scent fun! These 60-minute drop-ins use either food for beginners or wintergreen odor in vessels, boxes, and other more advanced hides for those on odor.  Drop-in classes allow more flexibility, a social experience and variety for you and your dog.

For new teams - We currently run a 6-week food-based class along with a few drop-in classes to build a solid foundation prior to introducing your dog to odor.

See the nose work page to register for the full class

Perfect for beginners and all levels — no experience needed! Dogs don't have to wait in the car (ideal for those who struggle with it).

NOTE: We're not certified instructors, so these classes are purely for fun and bonding, not competition training. If you're interested in competing, we'll happily refer you to an excellent local certified nose work instructor.

Exception: Not suitable for dogs that resource guard from people (for everyone's safety).

Outdoor Life Skills

Our Life Skills drop-in classes are designed to help your dog navigate the real world with more confidence, clarity, and ease. Focusing on practical, everyday challenges, these sessions build skills like disengaging from distractions, emotional regulation, loose leash walking, recall, and settling in public spaces.

Each class is customized to the dogs and humans in front of us, allowing us to meet you where you’re at and support your dog as an individual. Using thoughtful, positive training approaches, we prioritize creating calm, predictable patterns that your dog can rely on, helping them make better choices without pressure or overwhelm. Whether you’re working through specific challenges or simply maintaining and strengthening your dog’s foundation, these classes offer ongoing support in a flexible, real-life setting.

Parkour

Our Parkour drop-in classes are all about building confidence, body awareness, and teamwork while keeping safety at the forefront of everything we do.

Using everyday obstacles like benches, logs, rocks, and urban structures, dogs learn to interact with their environment in a thoughtful, controlled way through skills like balancing, climbing, and navigating different surfaces. Each exercise is carefully adapted to suit your dog’s size, age, physical ability, and comfort level, with a strong emphasis on consent, stability, and safe movement. We focus on helping dogs slow down, think through challenges, and build trust in both their bodies and their handlers.

Whether your dog is bold or more cautious, parkour provides a fun, enriching outlet that supports both physical and emotional confidence without unnecessary risk or pressure.

Reactive

Our Reactive Dog drop-in classes provide a supportive, structured space for dogs who struggle with reactivity toward other dogs, people, or the environment. These sessions focus on helping dogs feel safer and more regulated while building practical skills like disengagement, handler focus, and working at a comfortable distance from triggers. Set-ups are thoughtfully managed to prevent overwhelm, with an emphasis on predictable patterns, clear communication, and positive experiences. Each class is adapted to the dogs attending, allowing for individualized support within a group setting. These drop-ins are ideal for teams who have some foundation in place and are looking for ongoing, real-life practice in a safe and understanding environment.

Pop-Up Private Sessions

Check out our 45-minute private pop-up sessions. Designed for flexible, focused support when you need it most. Work one-on-one with Bianca in a Port Coquitlam park or Kari in a Maple Ridge park, in real-life environments where your dog is actually learning and living. These sessions are perfect for a quick consult, troubleshooting a specific challenge, or continuing to build on your existing training plan with hands-on guidance.

Patio Pals

Join us for our Patio Pals class, a 90 minute real life training session designed to help both you and your dog feel more relaxed and confident on busy, unpredictable patios. We focus on practical skills like settling at your table, disengaging from distractions, navigating close quarters, and building calm, thoughtful behaviour around food, people, and other dogs.

Each session is thoughtfully guided and adapted to the group, creating a supportive environment where dogs can learn at their own pace without overwhelm. Using positive, low pressure approaches, we prioritize emotional regulation and clear communication so your dog can truly cope, not just “hold it together.” Whether you are preparing for patio season or looking to improve your dog’s ability to join you in social settings, this class offers safe, structured practice in a real world environment.
