Safety First: Muzzle Policy for Dogs with a Bite History
To ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants, dogs over the age of 6 months with a history of biting a dog or human may be required to wear a muzzle during class. Muzzles are a valuable safety tool and help create a calm atmosphere where training can be most effective.
We kindly ask for full transparency regarding any past incidents involving your dog. Failure to disclose such incidents will result in immediate removal from the group, with no option to return.
Our top priority is the safety and well-being of every dog and human in our classes. By working together and being open about your dog's history, we can create the best environment for everyone to succeed.

What to Expect at Our Classes
Class Structure
The number of participants accepted will depend on the group dynamics and trainers available for each session. If the class is full, you’ll be added to a waitlist and contacted as spots become available.
Arrival Instructions
Before the class, you’ll receive an email with clear instructions on what to do upon arrival.
Skill Building
The focus of these sessions is on building a solid foundation of skills while maintaining a safe distance from other dogs. Close-up greetings will not be practiced in class.
Safety First
Participating in a public setting with reactive dogs carries inherent risks. It’s crucial that you are comfortable handling your dog in such environments. Dogs with a history of biting other dogs or people must be muzzled or secured with a waist leash, dual leashes, or a locking carabiner attached to both their collar and harness.
Family Participation
For safety reasons, we do not recommend children attend these classes.
Fear Free Commitment
We are a Fear Free training environment and strictly prohibit the use of e-collars, shock collars, prong collars, leash corrections, flexi-leashes, yelling, hitting, or any aversive methods. If you arrive using these tools, you will be asked to leave and will not be allowed to return. If you’re transitioning away from these methods, we’re happy to create a personalized plan to support you.
